Every: multilingual headless Shopify for a growing food brand

Shopify Plus | Food | Vegan

Commerce, subscriptions and content in one experience

Every sells vegan ready-made meals across markets. Its next storefront needed to support localized content, recurring orders and flexible campaign pages while retaining Shopify for commerce.

We delivered a headless Shopify rebuild using React and Sanity, with customer accounts, subscriptions and loyalty connected to the shopping experience.

Delivery at a glance

Under three months to delivery

The project delivery took under three months, covering the multilingual storefront and its supporting commerce integrations.

25+ editable content modules

The content team received more than 25 configurable page modules for composing localized pages and campaigns in Sanity.

35+ React components

A library of more than 35 reusable React components supported the interface. These are implementation components, distinct from the editable content modules.

Shopify commerce synchronization

Connected product, inventory and order data between Shopify and the custom storefront.

Subscriptions and loyalty

Integrated recurring-order logic, customer account experiences and loyalty features into the storefront.

Multilingual content operations

Structured regional content and translations in Sanity to support the team’s multi-market publishing workflow.

An architecture chosen around Every’s requirements

Every recorded 434,000 site visitors between June and August 2023, giving the project a clear operating context. This is a traffic figure from that period, not a growth result attributed to the rebuild.

The architectural decision centred on localized content, recurring orders and the team’s publishing workflow. Our native Shopify versus headless guide explains the ownership and integration tradeoffs behind this kind of decision.

Reusable components and editable modules

The delivery combined more than 35 React components with more than 25 content modules. The components provided reusable interface building blocks; the modules gave the Every team configurable page sections in Sanity.

Shopify supplied product, inventory and order data, while a custom backend supported recurring-order requirements. Account and loyalty experiences were integrated into the same storefront, with multilingual content managed around the markets being served.
